I have embarked on a food journey with the vast varieties of cuisines available here in Tokyo. In addition to the local flavors, I have so far managed to try some Italian, Mexican and Thai and the flavors seemed pretty authentic. The best part of the food here is, it is always fresh at almost any time of the day!
However, since I am selective about the meat I eat, it has been difficult to figure out the ingredients and get what I want. And the language barrier makes it a little bit complicated.
However, I finally got a chance to try out a vegan variant of Ramen at the Tokyo station and it was amazing! I have been curious about it since I got here, as the Ramen shops are almost everywhere! I am still trying to figure out how to eat swiftly with chopsticks, but I think I'll get there soon enough!
In addition to this, I have been indulging in some amazing desserts, and have totally given in to my guilty pleasures! So for now, I am just going to ignore my new agenda to diet and simply go with the flow! ;)
